Conservative speaker events spark campus chaos and vandalism.

Two people were arrested for protesting during a student-led event at UC Davis featuring conservative activist Charlie Kirk, organized by Turning Point USA. The protesters are accused of vandalizing the University Credit Union Center and resisting arrest. An officer was hurt during the event, and protesters broke 10 glass panels in the doors. About 100 protesters gathered outside, briefly blocking the main entrance and throwing eggs and other objects. UC Davis had canceled a similar event in October 2022 due to a 100-person brawl outside the venue.
