DC Park Police chase ends in deadly crash; moped rider killed, 3 suspects arrested

A Park Police pursuit of a stolen Honda Accord through Rock Creek Parkway and Connecticut Avenue ended near the Taft Bridge in Washington, D.C., when the driver drove into oncoming traffic, striking a moped rider, Nolberto Meza, who died, and a diplomat vehicle occupant who was hospitalized; three suspects were arrested. The driver, Tomas Anderson, 24, was charged with second-degree murder, while two others were charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
