Deadly Fire at Mexican Detention Center Highlights Inhumane Treatment of Migrants.

Arrest orders have been issued for six people, including three officials from the National Immigration Institute, two private security guards, and the person accused of starting the fire that killed 39 migrants at a detention facility in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Five of the six have already been arrested and will face charges of homicide and causing injuries. A video showed guards walking away when the fire started inside the cell holding the migrants and not making any attempt to release them. Families across the region are angered by the circumstances of the fire, and hundreds of migrants protested and turned themselves over to U.S. authorities.
