Deadly Shooting Near Northwestern University Prompts Lockdown

Three teenagers were shot, one fatally, in Evanston, Illinois, near Northwestern University. The deceased has been identified as Jacquis Irby, an 18-year-old man from Skokie. The other two teens were injured, with one in critical condition and the other with minor gunshot wounds. The shooting was not affiliated with Northwestern, and the victims were not university students. The suspects fled north on Sheridan Road in a sedan, and no one has been taken into custody yet. Police are searching the university's campus and surveillance footage.
