Joseph Zieler, convicted of killing an 11-year-old girl and her babysitter more than 30 years ago, was sentenced to death in Florida following a 10-2 jury recommendation. While attending his sentencing, Zieler elbowed his attorney in the face before being taken out by bailiffs. His DNA matched to the cold-case murders of Robin Cornell, 11, and Lisa Story, 32, in 1990. The victims were found suffocated and sexually assaulted in a Cape Coral apartment.
