American Airlines flight attendant Estes Carter Thompson III has been arrested and charged with attempted sexual exploitation of children and possession of child pornography after allegedly using his cellphone to secretly record minors using the bathroom on airplanes he worked on. The incidents occurred between January and September 2023, with victims as young as 7 years old. If convicted, Thompson could face significant prison time and fines.
