Eight indicted in alleged drone-and-sniper plot targeting White House UFC event

Eight men were indicted on murder and terrorism conspiracy charges for allegedly plotting to attack a White House UFC event with explosive-laden drones and snipers, in two conspiracies: providing material support to terrorists and murdering people on federal government property and a federal official. The plot began in May as the group amassed weapons, drones, and equipment for the Freedom 250 show in June. Defendants from multiple states were charged, including Chandler Scaggs, a would-be sniper connected to Tycen Proper, who planned to travel to the event but lost contact after arrests.
