EMT Brutally Stabbed by Patient in NYC Ambulance
TL;DR
A 25-year-old EMT was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen and leg by a 48-year-old man, identified as Rudy Garcia, while inside an ambulance in Manhattan. The EMT is expected to survive. Garcia has been arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He has a history of previous arrests for similar charges, as well as robbery and drug selling. The investigation is ongoing.
