"Execution of Johnny Johnson to Proceed as Stay is Lifted on Aug. 1"

The stay of execution for Johnny Johnson, a Missouri inmate convicted of the 2002 murder of a seven-year-old girl, has been lifted, and he is set to be executed on August 1. Johnson was found guilty of first-degree murder and other charges in the death of Cassandra "Casey" Williamson.
