Fatal Crashes Lead to Arrests and Vigils for Fallen Drivers.

The driver responsible for a triple fatal crash on Interstate 275 has been arrested and charged with three felony counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and one count of vehicular assault. Andrew Blankenship, 29, was driving a truck at a high rate of speed without lights on when he lost control and struck an occupied stopped vehicle, which then hit a tow truck driver who was outside his vehicle. Excessive speed and impairment are possible factors in the crash, which is under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety unit.
