Florida couple charged with confining four children in tractor-trailer cab for six years
Keisha Epps and Tamra Marshon Stewart face child neglect charges after allegedly keeping four children confined in a tractor-trailer cab for nearly six years. The children were denied school, medical care, and exercise while Epps drove a route between Miami and Atlanta. Investigators reported the children suffered from untreated injuries, including a severe burn and a sexually transmitted infection, and were subjected to physical abuse. Epps and Stewart were arrested in August 2026 and remain jailed awaiting trial. Additional capital sexual battery charges against Stewart are expected to be filed by the Statewide Prosecutor.
