Fatal shooting at Northridge strip mall leaves 1 dead and 3 injured.

One person was killed and three others were hospitalized after a shooting broke out in a Northridge strip mall on Saturday afternoon. The victim who was killed was hired to paint out gang graffiti on the exterior wall of a business located on Van Alden Avenue. The suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, fled the scene in a white sedan before officers arrived. The victims are not affiliated with any gangs, but it’s unclear whether the shooter was a gang member. Detectives are canvassing the area for surveillance video and speaking to witnesses.
