Federal investigation launched into fatal shooting of Black teen by US Park Police.

The US Justice Department will investigate the death of a 17-year-old black teenager who was shot by an unidentified officer with US Park Police while he was asleep in a parked, stolen SUV. Bodycam footage shows police stealthily entering the vehicle to make an arrest, but the suspect speeds away with an officer in the back seat. After telling him to stop, the officer opens fire on the teenager from behind. The department of justice called the bodycam video "extremely upsetting" and extended condolences to the teenager's family and friends.
