Video captures knife-wielding suspect charging Santa Monica officer before fatal shot

Bodycam footage from Santa Monica shows 44-year-old Michael Rodriguez advancing toward a police officer with a large knife in Palisades Park. After warnings to drop the weapon were ignored in a crowded seaside area, an officer fired once, wounding Rodriguez, who later died at a hospital.
