Fishermen plead guilty to cheating in Ohio walleye tournament.

Two anglers in Ohio pleaded guilty to cheating and unlawful ownership of wild animals after stuffing fish with lead weights and fillets to win a fishing tournament. The cheating was discovered when the fish turned in by the pair were significantly heavier than typical walleye. As part of the deal, the men agreed to three-year suspensions of their fishing licenses and Cominsky agreed to give up his $100,000 bass boat. Prosecutors plan to recommend a sentence of six months’ probation.
