Florida Grandmother Charged in Deaths of Two Grandchildren Under Her Care

A Florida grandmother, Tracey Nix, has been charged with aggravated manslaughter and leaving a child unsupervised in a motor vehicle after her 7-month-old granddaughter, Uriel Schock, died in a hot car outside her home. This comes less than a year after her grandson, Ezra, drowned while in her care. Nix allegedly forgot Uriel in the car after returning from lunch with friends. The children's parents are demanding prison time for Nix, stating that her negligence resulted in the death of both children.
