Former Sharon Hill officers sentenced in Fanta Bility shooting case.

Three former police officers in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, have been sentenced to five years of probation, including 11 months of house arrest, after pleading guilty to 10 counts of reckless endangerment in the death of 8-year-old Fanta Bility. The officers negligently fired 25 shots at a car they mistakenly thought was involved in gunfire that broke out a block away as spectators left a high school football game in August 2021. Four people were hit by police gunfire that sped past the car, including Fanta, who died in her mother's arms. The officers apologized to the family in court, who accepted their apologies and extended forgiveness.
