Empire State climb lands couple with reckless endangerment charges
Angelia Nikolau and Ivan Kuznetsov were charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal mischief and an additional charge after scaling the Empire State Building’s antenna, causing damage and forcing authorities to power down the system to reach them. They pleaded not guilty and, not bail-eligible, will remain free under supervision while awaiting trial; the duo, once profiled in a Netflix doc, are due back in court on Aug. 24.
