Frankfort toddler dies in apparent domestic-related homicide; mother injured

A 2-year-old boy was found unresponsive in a Frankfort home and died later at a hospital, in an incident police are investigating as an apparent domestic-related homicide. The boy’s mother was located in the home and hospitalized after attempting self-harm; detectives from Frankfort police, with help from the Will-Grundy Major Crimes Task Force, are investigating, and an autopsy will determine the final cause and manner of death.
