Fraudulent Facebook Sales and Embezzlement Scandals Rock North Carolina

A North Carolina woman, Chaiya Maley-Jackson, used Facebook to advertise and sell fake documents, including Social Security cards, driver's licenses, and COVID-19 vaccine cards, earning over $320,000 in fees. Maley-Jackson pleaded guilty to unlawful production of false identification documents and admitted to creating at least 400 fake Social Security cards, eight driver's licenses, and six COVID-19 vaccine cards between January 2020 and August 2022. She operated under the name "Yaya Flowers" on Facebook and required customers to pay upfront for the fabricated documents. Maley-Jackson was released on bond, and the maximum penalty for her charge is 15 years in prison.
