Glendale Couple Arrested for Alleged Beating Death of 2-Year-Old Boy

A 2-year-old boy was found beaten to death in Arizona, and his mother and her boyfriend were charged with first-degree murder and child abuse. The boyfriend initially claimed that a dog attacked the boy, but police found numerous bruises across the boy's body. The suspects told inconsistent stories before the boyfriend admitted to beating the child multiple times with a leather belt and swinging his body into objects within the room. The couple showed no remorse and discussed leaving the state to California. They are being held on $1 million cash-only bonds.
