Harvard Morgue Manager Accused of Selling Stolen Body Parts on Black Market.
A dollmaker from Massachusetts allegedly bought human remains from a Harvard Medical School morgue manager and sold them on Instagram. The morgue manager is accused of stealing multiple remains, including the bodies of two stillborn infants, and selling them online with the help of his wife to the dollmaker and three other men between 2018 and March 7. The dollmaker allegedly used the human remains to create her "horror dolls" and even hired someone to tan stolen skin into leather. The artist and the morgue manager were among seven charged in connection to an underground network that robbed corpses at Harvard Medical School's Anatomical Gifts Program and an Arkansas mortuary and crematorium.
