Homestead man arrested after firing on cyclists in Cutler Bay

A 40-year-old Homestead man, Raimiero Rios, was arrested in Cutler Bay after allegedly firing a gun at two cyclists on Saturday near Southwest 87th Avenue and 184th Street; deputies say he honked, swerved toward the cyclists, forced one off the road, struck the other, then fired in their direction. No injuries were reported, and the incident was captured on video. Rios faces charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and discharging a firearm from a vehicle, and is being held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center with bond to be set.
