Houston Teen Arrested for Paralyzing Woman in Violent Robbery

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a violent robbery that left a Vietnamese mother paralyzed in Houston, Texas. Joseph Harrell, 17, and Zy'Nika Ayesha Woods, 19, were charged with aggravated assault and robbery. Harrell was also charged with another robbery that took place less than two weeks after the attack on Nhung Truong, 44. Truong suffered broken ribs and a severe spinal cord injury during the robbery and is currently unable to walk or go to the bathroom on her own. Doctors have told her family that there is only a 50% chance she will fully recover.
