Inmates Charged with Assaulting Road Rage Shooting Suspect in Louisville

Two inmates at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections, Malik Jenkins and Zahva Parr, have been charged with assaulting Edward Sark, the man accused of shooting a 6-year-old girl in a road rage incident on I-65. Caught on camera, Jenkins and Parr allegedly punched Sark, threw him to the ground, and stomped on his head. Sark was taken to the hospital for medical attention, and the severity of his injuries is unknown. Both inmates are facing charges of complicity assault and complicity wanton endangerment. Sark, who was arrested earlier this week, is charged with multiple counts of wanton endangerment and assault in relation to the road rage shooting.
