Iowa Child Care Provider Faces Charges in Toddler's Death

A child care provider in Emmetsburg, Iowa, has been charged with child endangerment causing death after a nearly 2-year-old boy died from head trauma consistent with inflicted injuries. Hannah Priest, 28, allegedly told police that she was frustrated with the toddler and set him into his cot out of frustration. The child was pronounced dead on January 24. The investigation revealed that the boy died of head trauma, and court documents suggest that Priest may not have known her own strength when handling the child.
