Joran van der Sloot extradited to US to face charges related to Natalee Holloway case

Joran van der Sloot, the prime suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, has arrived in Alabama to face federal wire fraud and extortion charges involving her family. Van der Sloot allegedly offered to share the location of Holloway's body in exchange for $250,000, but his claims proved to be untrue. He subsequently fled to Peru, where he was convicted of murder and drug trafficking. Van der Sloot is scheduled to appear in court on Friday for his arraignment hearing.
