Man arrested for attempted murder of Lenoir County paramedic after shooting during emergency call.

A man has been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon after a paramedic was shot while attending a call in Lenoir County, North Carolina. The paramedic was shot in the upper torso and arm area and is in stable condition. The suspect was charged with five counts of attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon on an emergency person. The case remains under investigation.
