Man arrested for shipping $3M worth of fentanyl to Maine restaurant

A man named Jeremy Mercier was arrested for shipping $3 million worth of fentanyl to a restaurant in Maine, disguised as a shipment of mugs. The restaurant staff discovered the drugs and called the police, who arrested Mercier when he arrived to collect the package. The drugs were estimated to be around 31 pounds of fentanyl. Mercier was charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor and is being held without bail. He had previously served time in federal prison for cocaine distribution.
