Marine veteran and father of 2 fatally shot while driving for Uber in Lynwood.

Former Marine and father of two, Aaron Orozco, was fatally shot and carjacked by two passengers during his shift as an Uber driver in Lynwood, Los Angeles. Orozco had been driving for Uber for four years without any issues until the early morning of March 24 when he picked up two men. One of the passengers shot him during an altercation, and the suspects fled the scene in Orozco's Honda Accord, which was later found abandoned nearby. Uber has banned the rider's account and is working with the police on their investigation. Orozco's family is eligible for survivor benefits provided through Intact.
