A gunman opened fire on crowds of tourists in Miami Beach, killing one person and injuring several others. The incident was captured on surveillance video and the suspect was later identified as Dontavious Leonard Polk. This was the second deadly shooting in the area over the weekend, prompting the city to enact a curfew for tourists and partygoers in South Beach. Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber said the city was left with little choice in implementing the curfew due to the sheer number of guns and swarms of people crowding the city. Another curfew is likely to be put in place for next Thursday through Monday.
