Dozens of arson attacks hit Thailand's deep south, injuring three
Dozens of coordinated arson and incendiary attacks across Thailand’s southern border provinces—primarily Narathiwat, with incidents in Yala and Pattani—left at least three people wounded and damaged government offices, vehicles and infrastructure. A curfew was imposed in Narathiwat and part of a railway route suspended after track damage. No group claimed responsibility. The violence occurs within a long-running insurgency and amidst ongoing security talks with the BRN, with authorities examining the attack sites as they prepare for upcoming government engagements in the region.
