Michelle Berka, the mother of a 30-year-old Michigan man who made death threats against Democratic politicians, has been charged with lying when she purchased firearms that were later found in her son's possession. Her son, Randall Berka II, was arrested in March and charged with illegally possessing guns. Michelle Berka knowingly lied when she bought five guns, which were eventually given to another person. Her son was arrested with four of the same firearms. Randall Berka II had made death threats on social media against the president, governor, and LGBTQ community. Michelle Berka faces up to 10 years in federal prison if convicted.
