Minnesota man indicted for stealing Judy Garland's ruby slippers from museum.

A man has been indicted by a grand jury for stealing a pair of ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in "The Wizard of Oz" in 2005. The shoes were recovered in a 2018 FBI sting operation, but no arrests were made at the time. Terry Martin was indicted with one count of theft of a major artwork. The slippers were insured for $1 million but the current market value is about $3.5 million. Martin is 76 and lives 12 miles south of the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
