Missing 4-year-old's Body Found, Mother and Boyfriend Charged in Gruesome Case.

Memphis police have found a body believed to be 4-year-old Sequoia Samuels, who had been missing since Thursday. Her mother, Brittany Jackson, and her boyfriend, Jaylon Hobson, have been charged with aggravated child neglect, abuse of a corpse, and filing a false offense report. According to police documents, Samuels had been dead for "several weeks" and Hobson physically attacked her multiple times, rendering her unresponsive. Jackson never attempted to help her daughter, and they stored the child's body in several trash bags inside the house until they placed the bags containing the toddler's body into a trash can, where police ultimately found Samuels' remains.
