Missouri Woman Indicted Over Threats to Karmelo Anthony Trial Family

A Kansas City woman, Sharifa Nicole Henderson, 34, was federally indicted on three counts of interstate threatening communications for online messages aimed at the family of Austin Metcalf during the Karmelo Anthony murder trial. Prosecutors say she posted on Facebook threatening to 'demolish' and 'strangle' a Metcalf family member; she was arrested in Kansas City and appeared in the Western District of Texas. Each count carries up to five years in prison. The Metcalf family has endured more than 100 threats since the trial, in which Karmelo Anthony was convicted of murder and sentenced to 35 years.
