Ruby Franke, a popular momfluencer on YouTube, has pleaded guilty to four counts of second-degree felony child abuse. Franke admitted to physically torturing and starving at least two of her children between May and August 2023. The abuse included forcing her 9-year-old daughter to work outside barefoot in the summer heat and denying her food and water, as well as physically torturing her 12-year-old son by making him do strenuous tasks and subjecting him to extreme punishments. Franke has agreed to testify against her business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, and faces decades in prison when sentenced in February.
