Mother Allegedly Leaves Sick Child in Care of Siblings to Go Out, Resulting in Tragic Death

A 25-year-old mother from Chelsea, Massachusetts, is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment after her 3-year-old son, who had a history of seizures and hemophilia, died while she was out for the night. The child had been left in the care of his older siblings, aged 7 and 8, while the mother went out drinking at a bar and then spent the night at her boyfriend's home. Despite receiving texts and a video from her 8-year-old son expressing concern for the sick child, the mother chose to stay out all night. The boy was found dead the next morning, and the mother has been ordered to stay away from children under 16 and wear a GPS monitoring bracelet if she makes bail.
