Florida couple charged after four kids confined in truck cab for nearly six years
A Florida couple, Keisha Epps and Tamra Marshon Stewart, are charged with four counts of child neglect after four children allegedly lived in the cab of a tractor-trailer for nearly six years, denied schooling, medical care, showers, and outdoor exercise; investigators say the children slept in a bunk, one sustained a burn with no treatment, another had an untreated STI, and a reported sexual abuse occurred while Stewart watched; the pair were arrested on Aug. 6 and await trial, with potential additional charges such as capital sexual battery that carry heavy penalties if convicted.
