Mother and Daughter Charged with Grilling Remains of Elderly Man.

A woman from Hyattsville has been charged with the murder of her 71-year-old mother. She is accused of dismembering the victim with a chainsaw and attempting to incinerate her remains on a grill. The police discovered blood and tissue on the floor and three garbage bags containing human remains believed to belong to the victim. The suspect's daughter is also accused of helping her mother with the dismemberment. The motive behind the murder is believed to be the victim's threat to report her daughter to the police for fraudulent use of her credit card.
