Mother charged with murder after leaving toddler alone for 10 days to go on vacation

A woman has been arrested for murder after leaving her 16-month-old daughter alone and unattended for more than 10 days while she went on vacation to Detroit and Puerto Rico. The child was found dead and extremely dehydrated upon the mother's return. Investigators found the child's play bin packed with soiled blankets and a bottom liner saturated with urine and feces. Neighbors reported that the mother had left the child with them for weeks and wouldn't pick up the phone. The mother's bond is set at $1,000,000.
