Mother of 6-year-old ADHD shooter speaks out in GMA interview.

The mother of a 6-year-old boy who allegedly shot his first-grade teacher in Virginia in January says her son's actions can be linked to his ADHD diagnosis. The mother is charged with a felony count of child neglect and a misdemeanor count of recklessly leaving a firearm as to endanger a child. The teacher has recovered from the shooting and filed a $40 million lawsuit against the school district and officials. The boy remains in the legal custody of his grandfather and is getting therapy. The trial is scheduled for August 15.
