Mother of 6-year-old with ADHD speaks out after teacher shooting incident.

The mother of a 6-year-old boy who allegedly shot his first-grade teacher in Virginia in January says her son's actions can be linked to his ADHD diagnosis. The mother is charged with a felony count of child neglect and a misdemeanor count of recklessly leaving a firearm as to endanger a child. The teacher has recovered from the shooting and filed a $40 million lawsuit against the school district and officials claiming they ignored multiple warnings about the student's behavior. The boy remains in the legal custody of his grandfather and is in school elsewhere and getting therapy.
