Mother of missing Fort Worth child plotted escape

Police in Everman, Texas, are searching for the remains of 6-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, who went missing last fall. His mother, Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, planned her escape to India around the same time the boy disappeared, and his stepfather, Arshdeep Singh, is accused of stealing $10,000 from his former employer. Police have concluded that Noel is dead and have issued warrants for the mother and stepfather, who fled to India with their six remaining children. Other family members have told police that Rodriguez-Singh abused Noel.
