Multiple Arrests Made in Connection to Capitol Riot: Kentucky, Rhode Island, and Houston Men Among Those Charged

Luke Hoffman, a Kentucky man, has been arrested and charged for his participation in the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. Identified through a social media post shared by his wife, Hoffman is accused of obstructing law enforcement, assaulting officers with a chemical irritant, and entering a restricted building. He is one of over 1,000 individuals arrested across the country for crimes related to the Capitol breach. Hoffman's case is being investigated by the FBI's Louisville office, and he is one of more than 20 Kentucky residents charged in connection with the incident.
