Facebook Post Leads to Arrest of Kentucky Man for Capitol Rioting
Luke Hoffman, a Kentucky man, has been arrested and charged for his participation in the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. Identified through a social media post shared by his wife, Hoffman was seen wearing a tactical vest and obstructing law enforcement officers. He is accused of assaulting officers with a chemical irritant and interfering with their attempts to secure the Capitol grounds. Hoffman is one of over 1,000 individuals who have been arrested across the country in connection with the breach.
