Multiple Incidents Shake Nashville and Columbia County: DUI Crash, School Budget Questions, and Proposed Precinct Changes

A woman, identified as Shawne Thompson, has been charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving on a revoked or suspended license after crashing her SUV into a salon in East Nashville. Thompson was injured in the crash and attempted to flee the scene on foot but was apprehended by police. Surveillance footage showed the SUV losing control and crashing into the salon. Two open bottles of liquor were found in Thompson's vehicle, and she was also found to have a revoked license.
