Multiple Police Officers Shot, One Dead and Another Critical in Alabama

A police officer in Huntsville, Alabama, was shot and killed while responding to a shooting call, while another officer remains hospitalized in critical condition. The offender, who barricaded himself inside an apartment, was apprehended and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A female shooting victim was also at the scene and is receiving treatment. The Huntsville Police Department has asked residents to avoid the area and closed the area to traffic amid a heavy police presence.
