Nationwide manhunt for ex-Hogan chief of staff accused of stealing $276,000

The FBI raided the Florida home of Roy McGrath, former chief of staff to Maryland GOP Gov. Larry Hogan, who failed to appear in court for the start of his criminal trial. McGrath faces an eight-count federal indictment, including wire fraud and embezzlement charges. He has pleaded not guilty. The FBI likely searched his home for any indication of his current whereabouts. McGrath's attorney said he had no reason to believe his client would skip out on court and expressed concern for his safety.
