"Nine Charged in Multi-Year Art and Memorabilia Theft Ring"

Nine people have been charged with belonging to a theft ring that stole artwork and rare sports memorabilia, including awards stolen during a 2016 break-in at the Roger Maris Museum in Fargo's West Acres mall. The stolen goods were taken to northeastern Pennsylvania and melted down into metal discs and bars. The stolen goods included Maris' S. Rae Hickok Belt and 1960 American League MVP award, which haven't been found, but prosecutors said it is likely that they were melted down with other stolen memorabilia.
